Monday 13th November 2023
The RAF Families Federation is looking for RAF personnel and families with overseas lived experience to partake in its next RAF Community Forum in November. The forum provides an opportunity to discuss the challenges that can arise from overseas deployments.
Date: 21st November 2023
Time: 14:00-15:00
Join the RAF Families Federation’s Overseas policy expert Sue Gee and Nik Turk, from BDSUS, to discuss your lived experience and help us understand what overseas life is really like.
We will take the themes from the discussions to add to our evidence base. We will then share this information, anonymised, at the highest level to make change happen with the RAF hierarchy and the UK Government.

About the RAF Community Forum
The RAF Community Forum is a means of gathering feedback from the RAF personnel and family on the key challenges that affect the community. It provides the RAFFF with qualitative data on key themes, adding depth to survey findings.
The RAFFF then take this information and present it as evidence, anonymised, to the RAF hierarchy, Government ministers and other organisations, to influence positive changes on behalf of the RAF community.
