Service parents with children in State maintained schools, Free schools and Academies in England are encouraged to ensure that the Head Teacher of their child(ren)’s school is made aware of their Service status ahead of the Autumn school census deadline of 7 October 2021.
Norfolk County Council has developed a resource for schools and parents, helping them develop their understanding of the Armed Forces Covenant, the Armed Force Community and the Service Pupil Premium. View it here.
Updated Service Pupil Premium (SPP) FAQs are now available reflecting a new census date in October each year. Parents need to be aware of the change in order to keep their schools informed.
