Armed Forces Pension Scheme 1975 (JSP 854) – updated

This Joint Service Publication (JSP) 854 explains the Armed Forces Pension Scheme AFPS 1975 (AFPS 75).

The scheme came into force on 1 April 1975. In 2010, the rules of the scheme were harmonised and re-stated in new instruments, which are amended from time to time.
