Airplay youngsters help out with war graves clean-up
On Tuesday (13 Aug), young people from service families at RAF Coningsby spent the afternoon learning about the war graves located in Coningsby Cemetery.
Floristry course at Cosford’s Community Hub
A 10 week florist course has been held at RAF Cosford's Community Hub where a plethora of floristry skills have been learnt ranging from button holes, corsage, Avant Garde and other table arrangements, the response was amazing with 20 participants signing up to learn the skill and a waiting list of others hoping the opportunity arises for another course to run.
WiFi access on RAF Stations and in Contact Houses
The number of RAF Stations where Personnel and family members can make use of free communal WiFi has grown. Funded by the RAF Association, many Contact Houses have also been equipped with this facility and the new Station WiFi availability list shares, where you can access the free WiFi.
Cinelink scheme at RAF Coningsby funded for a further year by the Annington Trust
On Monday 3 September the station was delighted to receive a further year's funding of the project from the Annington Trust.
