Are you part of an RAF family currently living overseas or who have returned to the UK within the past 12 months? If so then we need your help!
With several thousand RAF Personnel and dependents currently living outside of the UK we want to ensure that we understand what life is like for these families, wherever they are in the world. We are therefore launching a new piece of research: ‘The RAF Family – experiences from around the world’. Information gained through these investigations will help us to better represent the views of RAF Personnel and families overseas, and to support them with any issues that they might encounter. We are interested in all experiences – whether good or less positive – in order to help us to gain an accurate view of the benefits and challenges related to overseas Service.
How you can help
At this stage we would like to hear from RAF Personnel or spouses/partners who are interested in taking part in a short, informal, and confidential interview. Discussions will take place by phone, Skype or in person, as best suits you. All information collected will remain anonymous and confidential – participants will not be identifiable through any information shared outside of the RAF Families Federation. As a thanks for giving their time all interviewees will be entered into a draw, with the chance to win one of four Amazon eGift vouchers (valued at £25 each).
As part of this research we will also be running an online survey, and will update you when this is live. You can also sign up to our weekly online newsletter, eBulletin where we will share out any information relating to this project.
