In order to support its members during the current coronavirus pandemic, the RAF Association has adapted in line with official guidance and launched four new projects to support the vulnerable, under Operation Connect.

Preventing the spread of coronavirus

In order to suppress the spread of coronavirus they have temporarily changed their face-to-face approach. Support is still being provided to those that need it using telephone and online communication channels.

Find out about the services and how they are operating.

Helping the most vulnerable

In addition to the services being delivered remotely, the RAF Association will be launching four new projects to directly support the most vulnerable members of their community, through:

  • Telephone outreach
  • Friendship helpline
  • Daily online entertainment
  • Doorstep provisions deliveries

Find out more about the four new projects launched.

In order for these projects to happen employees and volunteers are being deployed. However, to achieve what is required additional support is needed – email [email protected] to find out how you can help.

Alternatively, if you need their support – or even just a friendly chat – contact them by phoning 0800 018 2361.
