CASUAL CONTRACT £9 PER HOUR
We are recruiting on behalf of RAFATRAD, a wholly owned subsidiary of the RAF Association and we have an exciting opportunity for a casual Warehouse Coordinator to join our small friendly team to help with the receipt, storage and control of goods, dispatching orders, loading and unloading vehicles and various warehouse duties. The ideal person will enjoy working flexibility and understand the importance of delivering great customer service to our colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Requirements of SWC
• Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment
• Previous training in Manual Handling to include use of carrying aids eg trolleys
• Physically fit to undertake manual handling as required in this role, up to 20kg
• Ideally licenced to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
• Previous experience of computerised warehouse systems e.g. log deliveries/goods received
• Good skills in English, literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills
• Attention to detail, careful and accurate
• Understanding of the risks within a warehouse and how to avoid, minimise or reduce them
• Able to use own initiative to identify tasks requiring attention
• Previous experience of using a computerised warehouse system to log deliveries/goods received and booking items out
