Salary: £29690 – £31250 per annum 37.5 hours per week worked Monday – Friday
We are committed to meeting the highest standards of charity governance and are now recruiting for a new position of Branch Governance Officer (BGO). This role will provide professional governance support, guidance and advice to help the Association’s Branches and Branch Clubs to meet the Association’s governance framework through provision of expert input to the Association’s field force as well as direct engagement with branches and clubs if and when required.
Requirements of BGO
- Excellent knowledge and practical experience of charity law and governance
- Experience of working with and advising voluntary groups on charity governance
- Practical understanding of the operation of federated charitable organisations
- Professional secretariat services for meetings including minute taking
