The RAF Families Federation has some exciting job opportunities available within its Policy and Evidence teams. So, if helping to influence policy change for our RAF personnel and families appeals, then we’d love to hear from you!

Become part of a great team that provides an independent voice for all serving RAF personnel and their families. You’ll capture evidence of their views and advocate on their behalf to the senior RAF Leadership, MOD and government ministers. It is a confidential service that relies upon the integrity and professionalism of its staff to deliver a Federation that is both credible and respected by all parties.

As an organisation that exists for the whole serving RAF population (including singlies and reserves), you’ll be helping personnel and/or their family members on issues and challenges that they may face during their career in the RAF. Often being the first point of contact, you will take on the role of fully understanding each issue and offering advice to our ‘RAF family’ to ensure they are talking to the right people and asking the right questions. Ideal candidates will have a detailed understanding of the RAF lifestyle and it’s impact on serving members and their families.

The RAF FF welcomes flexible working and would be happy to discuss that at an interview level.

Job vacancies available:

  • Policy Advisor (Health & Additional Needs – Part time – 30 hours per week)
  • Evidence Assistant (Accommodation – job share – 15 hours per week)
  • Evidence Assistant (Part time – 32 hours)
  • Evidence & Issues Manager (Full time – 37½ hours per week)

Hours, salaries and application closing dates can be found within the Job Vacancies’ section.

Please note: Whilst the RAF FF is an independent organisation, you will be submitting your application form to the RAF Association as the organisation who holds the Families Fedreration’s contract.
