A reminder of the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre (JCCC) Virtual Contact Card for Service personnel deployed overseas and their families.
The JCCC contact card enables Serving personnel to download the JCCC emergency contact details to their smartphone, add in their service number, and share the contact card with their families and loved ones should they need to call in an emergency.
What is the JCCC?
Anyone serving in the Armed Forces regardless of service or rank could become a casualty at any time. This can range from a battlefield injury to a training accident or
suffering an illness from natural causes. Similarly family members can be subject to life events.
If these compassionate issues occur at home when you are deployed overseas on operations the JCCC is a dedicated organisation responsible for the immediate management of such cases affecting Service personnel. Using the JCCC contact card, the family member can contact the JCCC at any time if they believe an issue has arisen that requires a service person to be brought back home.
