The HRAFI study aims to explore the attitudes and experiences of serving Armed Forces personnel (both regulars and reserves) to the Defence Offer in their careers. This includes pay and pensions but also work life balance, welfare support, career and talent management, and every aspect of the experience of the Defence Offer in the career of a Service person. It’s running focus groups and also separate interviews in the study and needs to make sure that it hears the voices of Service personnel in minority groups, including women and those from ethnic minority backgrounds, to make sure that the study benefits from a diversity of experiences and views.
Though the survey has now closed, there are still interviews and focus groups taking place to collect views from across the Armed Forces community. These are due to finish at the end of January.
Early analysis of the review shows potential gender differences, aligned to what people value. Therefore, it is important to have female voices represented in interviews and focus groups.
This is an amazing opportunity to take part in research that will feed directly into a strategic review. Sign up via the details on the attached poster or by emailing [email protected].
