The RAF Benevolent Fund has launched a series of six amazing podcasts – part of several celebrations to celebrate it’s 100th birthday.
Called All Stations, the new podcast features remarkable and moving stories from members of our RAF Family, including people the Benevolent Fund has supported. It’s first series looks at those who have overcome adversity and is hosted by actress Sue Holderness.
Listen to the first of six episodes featuring Spitfire ace Allan Scott DFM (pictured), who during the Second World War was tasked with protecting the island of Malta when it was attacked by German and Italian forces. Allan tells us all about his RAF career and how he survived a horrific crash which left him with severe facial injuries.
Great for a car journey – Allan really is quite inspiring to listen to and lasts approx 35 minutes.
