All serving personnel and their families are invited to fill in the Future Defence Housing Questionnaire, issued by the Army, Naval and RAF Families Federations to help shape the future of military housing.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to influence change for decades to come.
Defence Housing review
The findings from the questionnaire will be examined in the independent Defence Housing Strategy Review, which has been established to explore the full range of accommodation options across the Armed Forces.
The questionnaire is an important part of the review process and will inform future housing decisions which reflect families’ needs and preferences.
Your feedback is vital
Service personnel and families’ responses to the questionnaire will directly inform the review’s recommendations to Ministers and MOD leadership. To ensure everyone’s needs are represented the questionnaire aims to capture the views of all service personnel, not just those currently living in Service Family Accommodation.
The questionnaire closes on 22 June.
The new Defence Housing Strategy will be published later this year following consultation with personnel and families, all three Families Federations are closely involved in this work.
