There is an opportunity for parents to provide feedback on how the Department for Education (DfE) are planning to reduce the costs of childcare in England.
The DfE has published an article entitled ‘How we are driving down the cost of childcare‘ highlighting its plans to reduce childcare costs amidst the cost of living crisis. In it, they have suggested a package of measures to drive down costs for providers and parents, boost the number of childminders and increase choice and affordability of high-quality childcare, to address rising costs.
If you have thoughts on the proposed regulatory changes to childcare in England it is important to have your say by 11:45pm on 16 September 2022.
Alternatively, if you are a Service family experiencing challenges with childcare you can Report an Issue for our Childcare and Education Policy Advisor to review.
