Armed Forces families Easter party

Wednesday 3rd March 2021

Charity Little Troopers plans to make Easter weekend extra special for lots of Armed Forces Families this year with a free online Easter party.

The Little Troopers Easter Show will take place on Saturday 3rd April at 2pm. The live one-hour interactive party can be streamed on any device and will be packed with magic, storytelling, songs, games and comedy for children of all ages to take part in. The show will be performed by Playhouse Parties who also hosted Little Troopers’ hugely popular virtual pantomime at the end of last year where more than 800 families tuned in. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their best party outfits or fancy dress as all the families attending will be able to see each other joining in.

The show can be streamed on any device. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance. There are 1,000 tickets available and families are asked to book early to avoid disappointment:

Louise Fetigan, the founder of Little Troopers, comments:

“Children would normally be looking forward to Easter parties and events in British Armed Forces communities around the world, but once again these events have had to be cancelled for the second year running. Because our virtual panto was so popular we thought it would be a good idea to put on a virtual Easter show for military families. We’re hoping the party will be a welcome distraction for children who have someone deployed and give lots of military children the chance to interact with other Little Troopers just like them, as well as helping them to feel part of our special Armed Forces community.”

About Little Troopers
