Amey and DIO have produced a short film to promote the importance of gas and electrical checks in SFA.
The health and safety of our customers and workforce is our number one priority as we continue to carry out response and planned maintenance across the Defence estate.
It is a legal requirement to undertake gas and electrical safety checks in Service family homes to reduce the potential for a carbon monoxide incident or an electrical fire and we understand the concerns that Service families may have when allowing an Amey engineer into their homes.
In order to help our customers feel comfortable when an Amey engineer visits their property, we’ve worked with DIO to create a short film explaining how essential gas and electrical checks will be managed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
