Mesothelioma UK has launched a specialist, UK-wide service for military personnel and veterans who have been affected by mesothelioma. The service also provides a specialist nurse and a finance and benefits advisor who can deal specifically with military personnel and veterans.
Eager to address the needs of this patient group, the charity is developing a bespoke range of resources and services to ensure maximum awareness and ensure those living with the disease have access to the best treatment, care, information and support. Mesothelioma UK is regularly looking to connect with Armed Forces, veteran and military organisations who can help us reach more people.
The development and launch of this work is supported by a grant from the treasury through the LIBOR monies.
