The results are in!
The 2026 Armed Forces Continuous Attitude Survey (AFCAS) was distributed to a sample of 32,365 trained UK Regular Armed Forces personnel between September 2025 and February 2026 using both online (all Services) and paper (Royal Navy (RN) and Army only) questionnaires. Participants were chosen using (disproportionate) stratified simple random sampling, designed to ensure sufficient responses from each Service and from each rank group within each Service, whilst minimising respondent burden.
