Thursday 7th January 2021
If you run a small business, this networking event, 6 pm on 18th January is a great opportunity to share your needs and questions as part of the Armed Forces Community.
X-Forces Enterprise are delighted that the Minister for Small Business, Paul Scully MP, will be joining them for an exclusive Military In Business® networking event this month. Having previously owned a number of small businesses himself, the MP for Sutton and Cheam was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in February of 2020.
This will be an incredibly unique opportunity for him to hear about the needs of small business directly from our Armed Forces community, as well as sharing some insights about the small business agenda from a Government perspective. X-Forces invite the Military in Business® community to come along with your questions for Paul and they will facilitate as well as hopefully making some recommendations for the future.
Founder and CEO of X-Forces Enterprise, Ren Kapur MBE said:
When Paul and I spoke at the end of 2020, at the EM3 local enterprise roundtable, we discussed the different government initiatives available for business recovery, and the importance of the handrail of support.
It was at this time that government had put further emphasis on peer-to-peer networks. As ever, peer-to-peer support is a priority as we enter our third lockdown and is a major part of the X-Forces Enterprise DNA, as seen with our new platform, the Knowledge Exchange Hub.
Paul’s belief in peer-to-peer support and advocacy should continue to foster positive results for our small business community as we try and sustain for the future.
This will be a key opportunity to gain insight into any additional government plans for small business, in an exclusive and closed forum. We will have lots of interest for this event so please ensure you register in advance through eventbrite.
