The RAF Northolt Primary Care Rehabilitation Facility (PCRF) was formally opened by Lady Hillier on earlier this month. Also in attendance was Air Vice-Marshal David Murray, the Chief Executive of the RAF Benevolent Fund, and RAF Northolt Station Commander, Group Captain Mike Carver.

The opening ceremony highlighted RAF Northolt’s ongoing relationship with the RAF Benevolent Fund and recognised its valued contribution to the completion of this project. The Fund awarded a grant of more than £20,000 to cover the cost of new equipment for the PCRF.

The PCRF provides physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation services to personnel at RAF Northolt, in addition to a limited number of dependants with specific needs and MOD personnel living locally.

By providing critical rehabilitation services to aid the recovery of injured personnel, the opening of the new PCRF will have an immediate and powerful impact on both wellbeing and morale at Northolt.

Damian Pinel, RAF Projects Manager at the RAF Benevolent Fund said:

“The health and wellbeing of our serving personnel is of utmost importance, so we’re thrilled to have been able to support RAF Northolt in the completion of this project.”
