The Armed Forces Covenant and Veterans Annual Report 2021 was laid before Parliament this morning and has just been published.
The RAF Families Federation and the other two Families Federations were pleased to be invited to comment on the first combined Armed Forces Covenant and Veterans Report. We highlighted areas of the Covenant that you have told us aren’t yet fully supporting RAF personnel and their families – in particular childcare, housing, education, healthcare and family life. We look forward to learning how the forthcoming Armed Forces Bill and the inclusion of the Covenant into legislation might help to improve these areas.
